Final requirements may vary by vehicle, rental length, delivery location, and event details, but these are the basics to know before booking.
Rental Requirements
Minimum Age: 25+
Drivers must be at least 25 years old to rent from Hot Rods & Rides.
Some vehicles may have additional requirements depending on performance level, insurance guidelines, rental length, or event use.
Valid Driver’s License
A current, valid driver’s license is required before the vehicle is released.
The driver’s license must match the approved driver listed on the rental. Additional drivers may need to be approved in advance.
Proof of Insurance
Drivers must provide proof of active auto insurance before the rental begins.
Insurance requirements may vary by vehicle. For high-performance, exotic, classic, or specialty rentals, additional verification may be needed before approval.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required for your rental.
Deposit amounts may vary based on:

The deposit amount and terms will be reviewed before your booking is finalized.
Mileage Policy
Mileage limits may apply to specialty vehicle rentals.
Included mileage, mileage limits, and additional mileage options can be reviewed before booking so there are no surprises. If you are planning a longer drive through Sonoma County, Napa, Marin, or the coast, let us know in advance so we can help confirm the right rental option.
Minimum Rental Period
